Your lived experience is not just personal—it is powerful evidence that reveals realities statistics alone cannot capture.

Why We Need Your Story

Your lived experience will be used in our work for systemic change. By sharing your truth, you provide the unique perspective that allows policymakers, institutions, and communities to learn, reflect, and act more effectively.

We invite you to share your challenges, solutions, and unmet needs in your own words. Tell us about barriers and hardship you have faced, including experiences related to discrimination, poverty, cost of living, housing, or social exclusion. Explain what happened when you sought support from public services, charities, or institutions. Share your vision for change and your specific, actionable suggestions for making systems more inclusive, fair, and accountable.

Guiding Our Advocacy Efforts

Your submission is vital for ensuring our limited resources are focused where they are needed most. Please tell us which advocacy priority you believe is most urgent for yourself, your family, or your community. Describe any unmet needs, including specific projects or services you require but have been unable to access.

For the unmet need you identify, please also explain why you couldn’t get the service. This might include financial barriers such as the lack of a deposit, subscription fee, or general affordability; locational barriers where a service exists elsewhere but is not available in your area; or access barriers such as lack of digital skills, transport, language support, or physical accessibility. It could also involve administrative barriers like long waiting lists, complex forms, or poor signposting. If discriminatory criteria or unfair eligibility rules prevented access, please explain. You can also describe any other unique reasons not listed here.

How Your Story Will Be Used

Your contribution is a powerful tool for achieving systemic change. Your insights will help us co-design new services and programmes that truly meet community needs, inform policy so institutions are pressured to learn and improve, and support campaigns demanding that public services are fairer and more responsive. We handle every submission with the utmost care, confidentiality, and consent.
